3/2/02: In the Supplemental Draft, the Shupurrs select John Patterson with their first pick, followed by Roger Cedeno, Ben Davis, Rusty Tucker, Clint Nageotte, Bobby Jenks, Jose Lopez, Felix Pie, Grady Sizemore, Sun Woo Kim, Bobby Madritsch, Mike Rivera and Kazuo Matsui. The rest of the picks were cut to clear roster space.

2/23/02: The Shupurrs use their picks in the Regular Draft to select Michael Barrett, Joe Thurston, Jason Stokes, Duaner Sanchez, and Khalil Greene. The club unloaded reserve infielder Todd Zeile to Shapecity for a 5th round pick that the Shupurrs used to land Scott Hairston.

2/22/02: The team sums up the Lotto Draft, selecting Derrek Lee with their first pick at #9, followed by Brandon Larson, Randy Winn, Gil Meche, Franklyn German, Rocco Baldelli, and Sean Burnett.

2/22/02: Prior to the 9 PM Lotto Draft, the Shupurrs trade their Rd. 1 lotto Pick (#19 overall) to the Anderson Nightmares for pitcher Johan Santana.

2/13/03: The Shupurrs send both their 5th Round Lottos (#1 and #19) to Shapecity for the team's 3rd Round lotto (pick #3) and Shape's 2nd round regular pick (pick #3).

2/12/03: The Shupurrs send Paul Konerko to the Galaxy for Glaxy's first round picks (# 9 and #19 overall), pick #19 in the 3rd round, and picks #9 and #4 in the 4th round of the Lotto Draft.

1/28/03: The Shupurrs send pitcher Ben Sheets and their 3rd round Regular Draft Pick to the Sacramento RiverCats for Outfielders Joe Borchard and Josh Hamilton.

1/28/03: Seattle ships their First Round Lotto (pick 19), 3rd Round Lotto (Pick 19), and reliever Flash Gordon to the Galaxy for pitcher Jon Garland and bencho Todd Zeile.

1/13/03: The Shupurrs ship disgruntled outfielder Vlad Guerrero and the team's 1st, 3rd, and 5th round lotto picks to the O's for outfielder Preston Wilson and shortstop Jimmy Rollins and the O's 1st, 3rd and 5th round lotto picks. The league wastes no time in voicing their thoughts on this trade, most of which relate to Shupurrs owner Erik Eckerson being a dumbfuck. Eckerson declined to comment...

1/11/03: The Shupurrs replacment major and minor league drafts are completed. The major league portion for the Shupurrs started with the selection of Vladimir Guerrero with the 2nd overall pick, followed by Josh Beckett, Paul Konerko, Ken Griffey Jr, and Ben Sheets.

The minor league replacement draft was just as much of a success, with the team holding the first 3 picks in the first round of the draft. They used these picks to select Brett Myers, Rafael Soriano and Colt Griffin, followed with their second round selections of Jimmy Gobble and John van Benschoten. Rounding off the team's roster were Gabe Gross and Antonio Perez, selected in the 3rd and 4th rounds, respectively.

1/11/03: The Shupurrs trade their remaining picks (6th round and onward) in the minor league replacement draft to the Galaxy for reliever Flash Gordon.

1/11/03: The Shupurrs trade their 5th round pick in the minor league replacement draft to the Missouri Mircacle for Missouri's 5th round pick in the Lotto Draft.

1/11/03: Amidst a flurry of controversy, The Shupurrs trade their 4th round pick in the major league replacement draft (26th overall) to their Missouri Miracle for the top 2 picks in the minor league replacement draft.

1/9/03: The Shupurrs trade their first round pick in the minor league replacement draft (2nd overall) to the Missouri Miracle for Missouri's first round pick in the minor league replacment draft (3rd overall) and Missouri's second round pick in the minor league replacement draft (10th overall)
